An hour to kill after getting chucked out of an art show for not paying results in this. I am also quite scared by how much my taste in books resembles Guy's. Thats what you get for being a geek i suppose...

21 read and 20 I intend to read. I think a fifth isn’t bad. But I also think there are a lot of brilliant books that I love that will never appear in this list and that there are also a lot of absolutely appalling books that do appear in this list (coughanythingbydanbrowncough)….can’t win. They have listed Charlie and the Chocolate Factory but not Danny, Champion of the World. which is an infinitely BETTER book. They’ve got On the Road but not William Burrough’s Naked Lunch…Also a LOT of them are children's books, disproportionately so i feel, and a lot of those (like enid blyton), are old fashioned, toff books that no child reads now - at least i didn't. It’s a very populist, middle England list to choose from, but in some ways I guess that’s unavoidable…can’t win, can’t win.
Going to go and see if can sneak back into the art show through the toilets now....hehe.
