So here's my new plan.
I thought of it last night.
I'm going to go to sleep before 12 every night and get up before 9 every morning and if I manage to do this for 14 consecutive days I'm going to put away 10$ for me. Right now that money will go to buying knitting stuff because I've decided I'm going to take up knitting.
If I fail however, to make the 14 days than I have to start over from 1. If I have 13 days and I sleep in till 11 than I have to start over at 1.
Perhaps it'll force me to get up in the mornings.
Also, I'm going to take my personal little heater/alarm clock to bed with me every night from now on. (My puppy paddy - she needs to be put out around 7/8 every morning so that should get my ass out of bed in the morning...then I just have to keep myself up).
Today I got up at 8.
Last night I went to sleep at 1. Today still counts though. It's more-so the waking up thing that counts than the going to sleep thing...
