if there's a will, there's a way.
so, i didn't get to spend christmas with my family this year.
i was stuck in new orleans with people i'm not really close with, even though they're family.
it's a pretty sad thought, don't you think?
i actually appreciate their effort of trying to make my christmas less depressing, mind you. it's just my emotions gravitate towards home more, really.
luckily, i did get to spend christmas with my family back home, even if it was actually 10 am of Dec. 24 over here. skype kicks butt!
nothing beats spending christmas with your family, but being on skype for 4 straight hours to spend it with them even if i'm miles away is just as great. :) it was strange, though. my cousins were taking pictures with a laptop with my face on it. my family even took pictures with my virtual self... i guess i'll have to wait for their pics when they upload them. they were all dressed up and i was... well... in pajamas. so much for that.
i can't wait to wake up at 6 am tomorrow to spend christmas with the other side of the family!
