Eiko bring them into the medlab, and just uses the miniregenerators on Isis's ears first. (They itch. A great deal.)

Then she starts to use it on herself.

And ye gads does it itch. It makes her nearly flaily through the whole process, which is why she holds onto the table to keep from trying to scratch the itch.

When Eiko's done (and Isis is sure of it?) There will be clinging. Much clinging. One hell of a freakish night, and while she can put on a brave face for the public venue easily when Eiko's around?

Yeah. She's gonna pretty much show she was actually quite scared during the whole thing, even if she did manage to keep calm during it.

Eiko picks Isis up and takes her to the house in Philadelphia, undresses her as she wibbles, lays her down as she undresses herself, and cradles her fiancee in her arms.

She remains this way for a very long while, both supporting, and in needing of support from Eiko. It was freakish in more ways than should be known, and terrifying. But if anything, Eiko's helped Isis learn to at least TRY to keep a cool head in situations that, honestly, scare the hell out of her.

Isis doesn't like having to actually use her power like that, as a sheer, offensive, obliterating force.

It doesn't happen often, and she prefers to keep it that way.

Eiko just holds Isis, kissing and stroking her softly, not using words to comfort. (They might be healed, but the ringing probably makes talking useless.)

She may even try to start lovemaking, to reassure and relax Isis. If that's rebuffed, though, there's still holding and stroking and kissing.

No words really are needed; Eiko just shows how much she feels for Isis by not letting her pull away and by taking on some of her fears.

(Eiko made that flashlight after Some was zombied last year; she kept it in case other, less ethical grues showed up. In this case, one did and was Some.)

Words aren't always needed, on Isis's end either, to be honest. Because there's ways around them, Isis isn't even using the linkup to 'speak' at the moment, either.

Lovemaking isn't rebuffed by any stretch of the imagination, though. Closeness is something she needs, and she imagines Eiko needs it as well.

And Isis, too, shows Eiko how much she feels, giving herself completely, as always.

(Partly Some, anyway, as it was far more powerful that Some ever was, even so, the flashlight? Probably helped save all of them).

The morning finds them, sleeping, entangled and touching as much as they can. Eiko finally awakens as sun fills the room, and murmurs.

Then she kisses Isis softly and starts to unentangle herself reluctantly. She has to go to the bathroom, and she's getting hungry. So while she's dealing with one, she's going to make a call to deal with the other.

..assuming she can do so without waking Isis up.

Isis is curled against Eiko and her warmth, glasses off and set off to the side, hair loose, bright purple in the morning sun (the one, little white strand still tightly braided within her hair, never leaving her).

Isis, alas, can sleep like a heavy, heavy log, especially after a night of spellcasting. Even if it wasn't nearly as much as she's done before, it can still be draining.

So, she sleeps through it all, only making a little noise and readjusts when Eiko leaves.

It's probably a cute sight, really, Isis sleeping like she is, hair half-over her face, and a content expression.

Though Eiko getting back ON the bed? Will probably make her start to wake up.

Eiko takes a picture. Because it is cute. ^_^

When she climbs back into bed, she tries to re-entangle herself, kissing Isis softly as she starts to wake and snuggling up.

Awww. And the fact that Eiko took a picture is also adorable.

Isis makes another soft little noise kissing back a bit lazily and sleepily, snuggling up and nuzzling Eiko gently. "Love you." She says, soft and quiet, "And g'morning." a beat, "Issit still morning?"

The ringing in her ears is gone, so she's hoping it is for Eiko as well.

Eiko lifts her head and looks over Isis's head. "'s half past one. So no. But 'sokay." She mms. "Love you too. Feeling better? I ordered food for an hour from now so we can get dressed or something. Or I can just get a long shirt on, pay, bring it up and we can stay in bed." She nuzzles Isis's throat. "'Cause that last sound nice."

And it would be nice to spend some time not in fear, terror, confusion...

She nuzzles at Eiko again when she looks up to state the time. "I am, now that I've had rest, among other things." Such as the lovely doctor who tended to her injuries.

"I like that last idea, as well." Faintly amused, "And I'm sure whoever's delivering will as well." Yes, Isis just made a joke AND a compliment, as the small smile on her face is indicating of both.

It would be, indeed. Isis is happy for all the time they're together, savoring it. But it would, indeed be nice to have normal moments, even if they're hardly normal people.

Considering what probably got nuzzled, there is a pleased noise.

"Good, good," she says. "I'm glad I could help." She nuzzles Isis softly in a similar place. "I'm sure we can amuse him a little bit when he arrives. I got pizza and chicken fingers." She returns the smile. "Gotta keep up your strength," she says, pulling Isis close.

Pleased noises are always good things. Always.

"So am I, really. Quite, quite glad." Isis shifts, so that there can be lazy, slow makeouts. Because those? Are also always good.

And usually result in even more pleased noises. Especially since, well, they get pleasantly distracted.

Thirty-minutes or less is a slogan that is, alas, held up by this pizza place, as the doorbell rings in the middle of things. (Hee, a rhyme!)

Eiko raises her head up from where she was on Isis, and mutters. "Told them an hour," she says, and then rises up. "Back in a moment, love," she says, "hold that position." She rolls off the bed, grabs and pulls on an overlong shirt, and runs down the stairs.

One brief leering transaction, payment, and intimidating threat later, she's up the stairs again, with two boxes, a bottle of something in the bag, and the shirt coming off.

Man, that Pizza boy thought he was LUCKY, too. After that threat? He never skittered away so damn fast in his LIFE.

Luckily, Isis wasn't QUITE so prone to flail when it happened, even if, er, intimate things were being done and accomplished at that very moment.

But, aside from a slight readjusting when Eiko comes in with the food. Isis streeeeetches a bit lazily, too, "..That got here quick."
