This was really sweet! I loved their characterizations and luhan's bitchiness. Really nicely done! The end worried me at first xD I thought the happy ending was a dream and chanyeol was dead or something. I love happy endings though!!

okay author-nim, i think it's best we have a little chat about appropriate rhetoric and plot devices to use in fic.

disguises to pretend to be other people, that's a-okay. disguises using racist rhetoric and stereotypical imagery--that's a big fucking stop sign right there.

“What happened? What has gotten into your head and you look like a…Chinese?” Baekhyun asks, picking the pistol from the floor and slips it back inside the drawer.

“Another mission,” Chanyeol answers simply. “And this is my way of solving it.”

“Oh, so that no one will find out that you are the Park Chanyeol.” Baekhyun draws a big rectangle in the air while saying Chanyeol’s full name. He goes back into the kitchen, turning the stove on again. “Your disguises are so amazing; I even fail to infiltrate it.”

a) you do not describe a person as "look[ing] like a... Chinese" when they're originally not. you know what we call this? we call this yellowface, which is inherently racist as fucking shit

Not the OP, but yeah the phrase "Chinese immigrant" left my jaw dropped while I was reading this. But in most cases the authors rarely mean to do it deliberately. Maybe they're just a bit careless, or anything. I personally hope the mods would be wise and settle this problem first with the author before the writers release. I feel sorry about the offence tho, hope it doesnt ruin your mood for the fest u___u

honestly, i don't see what's all the fuss about the 'chinese' facts in this fic. I mean, i'm italian and i have to handle people all the time making lame jokes about mafia, camorra and all that shit, but this is a fantasy story, if we're cool and clean it shouldn't be that hard to just take things easy and do not create exagerate drama. just saying.
