Conclusion

The championship game was between the blue team and the black team.

Both teams came into the finals match-up with a 2-1 record, the black team dominating the blue team en route to a 19-point victory the first time they went against each other.

Contrary to what happened the last game, the blue team got the early lead and was able to hang on for about half of the game. Then, the black team made a run, stopped the blue team's comeback, and clinched the victory.

And the championship.

---

The white team routed the red team once again to grab the second runner-up trophy in the first game.

---

I fouled out in the fourth quarter. The first time in all four games, even though I was in the brink of fouling out in two more games.

I was also the fourth and (I think) the last to foul out from our team. For a 12-man team, four people fouling out is big.

---

I also had a bad scratch on my left arm in the second quarter - I had to ask the stand-by nurse to treat it. Good thing I had a wristband in my bag (which I don't remember using, ever, but I still bring in most games) else I might have had a hard time continuing playing since the gauge over the scratch will fall out.

---

Two brown-outs and a Fitness First marketing appeal at halftime delayed the game - of all the times for them to happen, it was during the finals.

---

Everything said and done, there was no bitter taste after the defeat. Sure, more than being competitive, the main theme of our campaign was having fun, and I think that we did.

We got second-place, and that's fine (I guess). No sour graping there, although I'd have to admit, the championship would have made it even better.

Oh well, next year again. Hope I get to be teammates with as great of a bunch as I did this year.
