I'm already going to be on the bus during rush hour, so...
-I think I'm going to work a few hours a week at D'Amico again. It'll pay more than the silly pet store that wants to hire me, and I'll get delicious food and wine for cheap and I'll get to work with some old college pals.
-I saw These Modern Socks and Kid Dakota on Friday at the Turf Club. Every time I see Kid Dakota I like him more. (Or do I need to say 'them'? That sort of confuses me.)
-I thought about seeing Camper Van Beethoven on Saturday night but ended up shopping and eating with JD too late. I bought a hoodie and an some earrings I'll never wear at H&M. We had amazing tapas at El Meson. I went to the Muddy Pig in St Paul on a blind date my brother orchestrated. It was fun and he's sort of adorable, but I don't want to make out with him or anything. Then, silly me, I went BACK to my apartment in Minneapolis, but on Dave's urging I went BACK to St Paul again to see Revolver Modele at the Turf. I'm decidedly never driving again.
-Sunday came around and I spent about six minutes at the Rock for Roe benefit when I suddenly felt as though I absolutely had to throw up or I would possibly die. Apparently I've contracted the flu or some sort of stomach virus and I feel like shit. I'm attempting to get some schoolwork done here in the library, and it's all I can do not to run to the bathroom and cash my saltines. That was pretty graphic. Sorry.
-On the bright side, my pretty new laptop will be arriving by UPS tomorrow and then I will be all set to wirelessly compute from my apartment! Also my lovely friend Peter has now officially purchased both Belle & Sebastian and Matisyahu tickets for us. I was sort of worried that B&S would sell out, but everything appears to be under control.
