Escape

Junhyung x Hyunseung
246 words

“You won’t regret this?” He asks, as they’re walking together along the crowded street. One on the familiar downtown they loved to hang around back in high school. The sky seems like it’s going to rain anytime soon but they couldn’t care anymore.

It’s now or never for this.

“I won’t,” he replies, softly but reassured. Hyunseung doesn’t have to see his face to know what expression the boy in front of him is making. Actually, he feels a little relieved that the younger didn’t turn around to face him so that he can’t see all of the worries and fears that’s now filling his doe eyes.

He will never regret making this decision, but it doesn’t mean he’ll never afraid about what to come. There’s nothing easy when it comes to running away. At least not everything’s easy. But they won’t- never want to- go back.

Hyunseung may have not a single idea about where they’re heading to. But it doesn’t matter. As long as right before his eyes is this strong, stable shoulder of this man- his man. Junhyung has a big black luggage in one hand, the other one holding tightly onto his, leading him to somewhere they don’t even know. With one hope for a better place, and a voiceless promise he heard it from the touch of his hand- I will never let go.

They will go anywhere, somewhere they can really start anew.

One swift moment
Junhyung x Hyunseung
294 words
He didn’t resist when Junhyung placed his cold, practiced lips on his insipid one in the middle of their walking-home. He didn’t resist those spells Junhyung whispered into his ears because, at the moment, he realized it’s always been what he wanted to hear. He couldn't feel anything except the taste of cigarette and cola in his mouth; mixing together with the smell of sweetened lemonade he remembered drinking it somewhere.

“You taste like Aunties Anne’s,” Junhyung said, smirking as he fingered the older man’s lower lip, eyes sparkling like a beautiful starry night that Hyunseung couldn’t help but stare. “I wonder if I could find a pretzel somewhere too.”

And with that, he lowered his head, giving the doe-eyed boy a little kiss on his collarbone, working magic with his lips and tongue, marking him as his own. His experienced touches scared him a little, the fact that Junhyung is not going to stop at anyone in anytime soon reminded Hyunseung that he’s just one out of so many, and the words I like you is merely a distorted way to say I like yours.

He couldn’t care less, he knew how it’s going to end since the first time the younger accidentally placed his eyes on him. It could be anything out of everything or nothing at all. Someone said he will never make it. They said he will be the only one left with tears and pains. And even though he’s always tried his best to appear indifferent, Hyunseung’s always know, bitterly, consciously. Yet he still wants to give them a try, he wants to give himself a try.

“You’re the one asking here, you know?”

Hyunseung couldn’t resist,

“Yes.”

His falling never felt so real.
