New York City is inherently lonely, it's the only place I know that you can go about a full day without ever speaking a single word...It's the oddest feeling of privacy.

However, dear, if you need a tour about town. I'd be happy to take you on one of my days off. That is, if Papa Bear doesn't mind.

Scouts honor, Sir.

She'll get a tour of the subway, the grid system, and an Egg Cream..This way she can't shock me in four months but telling me she's never had one.

It is lonely.

It's weird, because there are people everywhere, but they're all in their own world or something. No one really sees you.

Oh, I would love a tour! I'm having absolutely no luck on my own.

It is odd. No problem hun, by the time we're done you'll hopefully be able to get around like a local.

Really? A local? But they don't even have to look where they're going!

Neat!

I think this coming Monday is my next day off, if you're free.

My last class ends at 10:50 on Monday. I'm completely free after that and ready to receive the grand tour!

Sounds good. Meet me at the Pentamerone and we'll start from there.
