Not bad, eh?
Whaddup all,
It's been alright these past few weeks. The music for the band is coming along nicely, drummers are shaping up, the band is coming together, and work is busy but I am caught up.
The Band is competing this weekend at the Ohio Scottish Games. I will be playing in Solos at 8:30 in the AM, and the band will be competing in the MSR and Medley competitions for the two societies that run the games (Which are he euspba and mwpba.). The medley is EUSPBA, and the MSR is MWPBA. I think we'll do wel in the medley, but we most likely will get hammered in the MSR, because this is the only time we will compete in MSR, all our competitions are medley after this.
Work has been hectic thanks to the new bankruptcy law coming out this year, in October. Everyone is filing now, and it will be a bitch to get a discharge after they go into affect. Man, fucking Bush does it again.....
I've been teaching a Drum Corps in Akron called Celtic Eagle Pipe Band. I know the Pipe Major from another band I played in (Crag Dhe Cead), so he set me up as instructor. They are slowly but surely developing, because none of them have ever competed in their lives. It'll work out, though. I may be going to the band next year, as Drum Sergeant. I will see how it goes.....

7/9 - Chatam, ON Canada
8/6 -Detroit, MI
8/20 - Davenport, IA
8/27 - Sarnia, ON Canada
9/3 - Ligoneer, PA
