28 sighs

Looks like I caught whatever's going around, I've been hurling all morning. I hope Asahina-san doesn't blame herself, I'd go and visit her even if she had the black plague!

Haruhi, you guys have a thermometer? We don't.

I think I'm going to sleep the rest of today, I feel like crap. Or that's what I would do, if the whole world wasn't blowing up ( Read more... )

curses are fun times, being sick is really stupid, kyon does not heart the city, asahina-san, ic, haruhi

UGH! Not you TOO! You all are just pitiful! Seriously! Am I going to have to do everything around here?

Apparently. Show some sympathy, I'm dying here!

You don't want her sympathy Kyon...trust me...you'll get it anyway boredom_banned November 5 2008, 18:52:43 UTC
All those people in that apartment and NONE of you own a thermometer? You're lucky I picked up a bunch of supplies JUST in case something like this happened. My members have to be in tip top health, I won't allow sickness to stop our efforts!

Am I going to have to take care of everyone? If Koizumi-kun gets sick, I'm gonna kill him!

Just in case, huh? Oh well. Sorry, Koizumi, but better you than me.

Yeah, somehow I figured you'd say something like that.

What the hell is that supposed to mean? You all owe me, HUGE, when you get better!

First things first...you aren't staying in that room. If I have to take care of both you and Mikuru-chan, then you all need to be in the same apartment!

I am not going to get out of bed. You don't have to take care of me, you know, just come by and drop off the thermometer.

Thanks for the caring words.

...Right. Fine. I'm still staying in bed.

No, you aren't. You can't even keep anything down...you'll totally puke all over yourself and your sheets and not be able to bathe yourself or change your clothes and your sheets will be all covered in vomit cause you can't take care of yourself if you are sick.

Plus, I have cough medicine, soup, tissues, vaporizers, cold compresses, pain killers, clear soda, tea, extra sheets, fresh towels, and even a bucket you can puke in.

And I won't share...

You know... it's kind of hard to tell, but I think she might actually be worried.

...Fine. But if I collapse on the way over, it's your fault.

[Whipping open the door, Haruhi held a can of spray disinfectant in one hand and her mouth was covered with a sterile mask to prevent the illness from affecting her too.]

Here! I made a perfect spot for you over here on the couch! I even went to the video store to rent movies in case anyone got sick!

[As the leader of the SOS brigade, it was her responsibility to ensure that EVERYONE was healthy and safe! She would not fail in that! Dragging Kyon into the room, she pulled him over to where a set of sheets covered what appeared to be the couch with a comfortable blanket folded up on the end of it.]

This is where you can stay. What do you need first? Tea? Medicine? A movie? I got something called 'My Teacher is an Alien from Venus' and 'My life as a Teenaged Serial Killer' for us to watch!

[ Okay, he still feels and looks like death (he's in sweatpants and a t-shirt and has got some serious bedhead going on, and is more than a little pale) but maybe coming over here wasn't so bad after all-- she looks like she was pretty serious about taking care of him. He goes over and collapses onto the couch ]

...A movie wouldn't be bad, I guess. Just not the second one, I don't need to start throwing up again.

[Snatching the blanket off the couch where he rested, Haruhi unfolded it and threw it over him without an ounce of care. As long as it ended up ON him she had achieved her goal. Moving toward the kitchen, Haruhi moved to grab several of the items she'd left there, including the thermometer.]

If watching a movie makes you want to throw up, then I think that has nothing to do with being sick. It just means you've got no tolerance for good movies, the minds of serial killers are really awesome! You should read about them sometime!

[Returning, she stuck the thermometer in his face and glared at him until he took it from her.]

Hurry and take your temperature. I'll start the movie for you.
