Greetings! I was encouraged by the lovely smirnoffmule to share fanart here, so here's one of a few comics (a comic on a comic - is that a metacomic?) I made that feature the Engineer taking the mickey out of the Midnighter for being so Method.

Dave is so British --- I loved it though because in Brit TV series it seems everyone whose name is unknown ends up a Dave. :D

Say, did you write the fic "Zero and One"? That made me happy for days. I have a few ideas more for comics, some of them drawn too, but if you've got a script somewhere, I'm yours. I can't write for shit so I base my stuff on gags and timing.

Yeah, I did - and hey, you've reciprocated the happy! I'm made up that you liked it. And holy crap, thank you for the offer. Actually I've never written a script - I base my stuff on rambling and purpleness, as you probably gathered - but if I could get one together I'd be clobbering you with it in a heartbeat. Mind if I keep this in mind?

Meanwhile, I can't wait to see more.

Certainly! I'd be a lot more careful about the art and detail, too, because when I draw for myself I just go wherever the drawing decides, if that makes sense. In your own time, of course, I know how taxing RL can be.

Okay, ONE, that's gorgeous. I'm so super impressed with the trad media, and I think the color use and little bit of the Carrier interior that we see is brilliant X3 Two, that's just brilliant, period. The Angie and Jenny interaction is too great, and Clint is way better than Dave. Or Bert. (Gyahaha coffee mug... you win just for his WTF look in the fifth panel!) Ah, headkicking cowboys, my morning is complete ^^

Thank you! I have a Wacom and I've got Painter and ArtRage and OpenCanvas but as time-and-space-saving as it all is, I'm simply dreadful at drawing on a computer. I'm just amazed at how you do it - I never know whether I want to break the tablet or the monitor when I try. This was drawn last night with a permanent marker, but with more free time I'll unearth my quills and do some proper inkwork, promise.

Heck, I've been working at the markers and easy trad for long enough now that I think I've slowly unlearned how to do stuff on the computer -_- Just the other day I was trying to do some simple flats in Photoshop on a bunch of Authority paper dolls, and it was like HOW THE HELL DID I USED TO DO THIS?

But ooooh super l337 inkwork..!! I can't wait to see it!
