Today
Okay, so I've fallen on the livejournal bandwagon. I'm not doing this to be emo (although my first post made back in october is very emo), instead I've found that I can no longer write as well as I could in High School. It's not that I don't write papers or anything, but college just has a different work load for me and most of my time is spent reading and not writing. So, I've decided that I will try and post a little something everyday, no matter how lame it is (and I assure you, it's going to get pretty lame, I don't lead and interesting life). So, without further ado, my entry.
So, today has been pretty weird. Last night the power in my room shut off. Yes, my room, and the rooms of about 5 other people, no one else was affected by it in the least, so I was essentially without electricity until 9:05 in the morning. I'm assuming what happened was our retarded night technician couldn't find the circuit breaker and did nothing, and when the day technician got in at 9, he went downstairs and 5 mintues later I had power.
My first class was ok, it's not that great of a class because the people in it only want to talk about the obvious facets of the works and avoid the deeper meanings at all costs. Since classes were canceled for the rest of the day because of this "blizzard" (WTF?), the mediocrity of my first class will have to be the apex of my day. Tonight, I have a fun evening writing a small paper, and then perhaps "chilling" (I'm so hip, or should I say hep) in my room with Mo and Mandy.
