So...on one of my friend's xanga sites we have been having a VERY heated discussion about the recent Illegal Immigrant policies, and the possible pros and cons of deporting 12 million Mexicans. I'm not really sure how many people read this since i dont tend to post too often but if you do, i'd be interested in what you think on this issue. I

So, maybe this is just my cynic ass talking, but yeah, let's deport 12 million people and get a whole other country really pissed at us. When those fuckers start blowing our shit up, I'm not going to say that I blame them. Why can't we just leave well enough alone sometimes?

They do the jobs that no one else wants to do anyway. They're not all pompous assholes that are too good to dig up our produce. You think any of the people deporting them are going to get off their asses and pick their own food? I doubt it.

I'm not saying this is necessarily how I feel about the entire issue, because I haven't spent that much time looking at the policies. Those are just mouthy comments that I've made in my bitter rant about everything.

The first thing they do when they get here is start popping out little ones because they can't be deported if their children are technically citizens. I think that alone shows their committment to giving their offspring a better life. People still actually believe that this place is the land of opportunity and they try to give their children that and hold on to their meager-paid-under-the-table wages and their feeble housing.
