Let's start at the very beginning. A very good place to start.
I'm interning right now. I should be writing a pro-choice donor letter but I'm having a bit of writers block. CNN is on in the backgroun and apparently there was a security scare in DC something about a small plane entering the no-fly zone. So they evacuated Capitol Hiil. But I guess everything is all fine and dandy now.
While I was watching this it occurred to me that in a little over 3 months I will be living and working in Washington, D.C. Holy Shit. I mean everything is set. There is no turning back. All I have to do is wait till the end of the summer to hear if I which Senator I will be working with. I cannot believe that I will be interning on Capitol Hill. It just seems so unreal. This is an amazing oppertunity that will give me such an advantage over people seeking jobs in DC. It definately gives me hope for finding a job after graduation esp. since I am willing and wanting to move to DC.
I am SO excited for the fall.
