Who-hoo!

I finally finished my Urban Policy Research Paper, The Orgins of Urban Crisis: Race and Inequality in Postwar Detroit. My Professor loved that I was writing about Detroit, even more that I was from the area. It's really quite sad the state the city has fallen into. And sadly, it will never regain it's splendor. (Did it ever have spendor, one may ask) Actually, Detroit was basically doomed from the beginning. Bad urban planning my friends. If I wanted to be an Urban Planner, Detroit would be the place to be.

Given that my paper is finished there is only one thing left to do...

Take a deep sigh of relief because this god forsaken fall quarter is finished!!!

I'm headed back to the D tomorrow afternoon until Monday. It will be nice to see my family, catch up with friends, and basically be lazy because I don't have to worry about school for the next 6 weeks.

I have some great books I'm looking foward to reading. Katie and I plan on having arts and crafts days. I also plan on getting drunk at work with Gretchen and Craig because, really, what else is there to do? And perhaps what I am most excited for is Drew's visit. Which is in about a month! :) AHH!

Well it's off to bed seeing that I need to get up in 3 hours to pack, have breakfast with Maggie, turn in my paper, stop by Dr. May's office, and fly home!

Who-hoo! 7 quarters down, 5 to go!
