When I started at the Bugle I never thought that I'd stay for as long as I have, but I loved the idea of being a professional photographer. It sounds more glamorous than it is, but I just like doing it.

I'm going to NYU and majoring in photography. Or will be. Classes start Tuesday. I think photographs can help you say what you mean when words escape you.

That's how I feel but I'd take it a step further. I think they say what doesn't even occur to people to say at all. Then whatever that sentiment was hits you like a ton of bricks.

Oh yes, I think that is definitely something photographs can do as well. They tell part of a story that can't always be captured with words.
