What mother cursed you by giving you the name 'Graham'?

Uhm .. my mum. It's a family name, or something. Not entirely sure.

Popular British name, though. Like .. Adam and James. Jamie, also.

Oh...really? Tsk. Shame that, you should put in for a change of names, find something better.

Something cooler...

I'm Hermes, by the way.

I've grown quite fond of my name. Don't know why, exactly. But I figured I might as well just as accept it. Over here, it's really rather common.

Ah, Hermes. As in .. Hermes? Atop Grand Central Station in New York City, Hermes?

He does share a likeness to me, doesn't he? I think they went a bit more chubby than I really am, though.

*Pulls up shirt to show off belly.* What do you think?

*laughs a bit, then looks down to his stomach*

Well, from the street, you can't really tell what his abdomen looks like. But I'll take your word for it - I'm sure you're in much better shape than the statue.

Well, I run and it just looks like it is trying to. I can see my advantages...

Nice smile by the way...

ooc: and OMGZ I can't hold it in anymore, I loved that movie! Graham was such a doll. I want one like him.

Well, yes. Being an actual person compared to a statue does have its advantages, for sure.

*smiles, nodding his head in appreciation*

Thank you. Don't think I've seen yours yet, but I'm sure it's fantastic, too.

OOC: TEEHEE. Me too. That's why I had to make him! It was driving me mad. And poor Graham - everyone thinks he's gay. Haha. He's feeling like he has to go and get a sword or something, to prove his masculinity.

It sparkles.

*laughs*

You're amusing, you know that? So, what do you do? Try to write books?

ooc: Heee, I own it. I saw him post and I almost ran downstairs to grab it. Then again, I own a lot of Jude Law movies lol. :D Still, I love him. And Hermes doesn't think he's gay, but he's happy to hit on him anyway.

Ah, yes. So it does. Very nice.

*perks a brow, then laughs*

Am I? That's good to know. Always try to be amusing.

No, no. I'm an editor of books. So before a book is even really considered for publishing, I have to sit through and read a manuscript. Suggest word changes. Fix punctuation, syntax, agreement, tha sort of thing. The better the writer, the less notes. Sometimes, they're absolute rubbish, though!

OOC: XD Yeah, once I made up my mind to write for him, I re-watched it just to make myself fall in love a little bit more. Heh. He's a chatty bastard, haha. And hahaha, Graham is flattered all the same. He's just concerned that a LOT of people think he's gay.

...That sounds amazingly boring.

*nod*

ooc: hee, well I think most Jude Law characters that have come though TM have been Gay, or Bi? msg_ina_bottle was originally a Jude Law Face, and he hit on everyone. :)

Yes. Yes, it is. But I figure it's a job, and it gives me the means to provide for my daughters. So, I'll keep it for as long as I can take it.

My sister, Iris, probably has much more interesting tales than I do. She's a reporter, so she gets to write about many an odd, intersting thing. I don't. I'm the person who has to edit bollocks like that.

*laughs*

OOC: Ahhh, I see. That's why, then. Poor Graham. The fact that he's so sensitive and in touch with his feminine side doesn't really help his case all that much, either.

You should take an adventure. I would...I think it is more fun, and provides an education you can't get anywhere else!

And a mild state of anarchy if everyone quits their jobs at once! :D

I like anarchy. In control amounts.

ooc: aww, poor woobie.

An adventure? I can't go very far with my two daughters. And I certainly can't leave them home alone.

My adventures take place at the local, when I get a mate or someone to watch them for the night. I go, have too many pints of Guinness and Black Sheep, get completely pissed, then stumble to Iris' cottage and sleep it off on her couch. I get up the next morning and head to work.

It's simple and something a lot of people do on a regular basis, but for me, it's just the kind of thing I need to get away from life sometimes.

*shrugs*

OOC: Yes. *patpat* But he needs to stop whining about it.

Man...

We need to spice up your life. Without Posh, Ginger, Sporty, Scary, and Baby...

*laughs*

Oh God, no Spice Girls. I was quite happy that they split up before my daughters were around.

Also, kind of .. interesting that you know all of their names.

*laughs again, grinning*

My life can't get any more .. adventurous. Wouldn't work well with my role as dad. And complicated is definitely a no-go.
