Elizabeth lets out a laugh at the strangely dressed man. "Then your wife is indeed a fortunate woman to have one such as you spreading such holiday cheer! I have rarely seen someone wear Saint Nicholas' stocking cap with such flair!"

OOC: Yay! Thank you! I just had to pick her up since she has been bugging me to do so. It was sort of my Xmas present to myself. I love that Snake came by to say hello to her! :)

Snake laughed having totally forgotten the hat Hope had put on his head earlier.

Think it all comes with being a father. You learn to do a lot of things no man in their right mind would do.

And a wonderful Xmas gift she is. She's a pretty girl, Snake has to say hello.

There is nothing more important than seeing to the joy and care of one's children. God bless you and your family, Sir.

As for the things that a man may do as a part of that, perhaps Corwin will have a bit of competion as being a Court jester!

Thank you, princess. Snake chuckled. Don't know about the jester part. My only experience with the courts is not showing up when I'm suppose to.

Elizabeth titters behind her fan, but you can hear her let out an audible laugh. "Rest easy, good sir, for far be it from me to summon you to this court for such a pretensed and uncomfortable reason. My only wish is that you make merry today."

Snake smirked at the laughter.

If we're here to be happy, why isn't the most beautiful woman in the room up dancing with a handsome stranger?

*laughing* How could I possibly refuse such an invitation? Of course We wish you to be happy!

*to the musicians* Play a Volta!

*to the rest of the crowd* Let the wine and mead flow and the merriment commence!

Looks at the dance unsure of what it is but certain he could catch on. Looking up at Elizabeth he gives her his best smile and offers his hand.

That beautiful woman still isn't dancing. Would she care to come out with me?

Snake takes her hand watching the dance as they go to the floor. He just followed what the other guys seemed to be doing.

Can't say I've done this before.

"That is quite alright, Sir. We all have to start somewhere." She gently gives him cues as to how to move and is impressed with his steps. "Well, met! You may be new at this but you are doing exceptionally well!"

Thanks. Snake smiled as they danced. Figure once you know one dance the rest get easier.

"Oh, indeed so! I hope you have sturdy soles on your boots, Sir. The Court tends to go through many pairs of them for all of the revelry that we have."
