Its over. (work that is, other things hopefully arn't)
Yup thats right. ISF is done with me. All 3 shows have opened. And they all turned out preaty well I think. Now as long as the run crew doesnt destory the set while loading it in and out, every show should rock. In my opinion I enjoyed Comedy of Errors the best followed by Julius Ceasar, with Pericles as my last choice. All the sets really rock. I just wasnt into the story of Pericles, but I did enjoy going to see a show that night. So I'll probably be going back a few more times to party once with the ISF peeps and then a few days to do time lapses of the loadin/outs. Should be fun, espically since I get to see everyone again. I just hope I dont get bored during the day, its not like i can go to my room and sleep (i dont have a room while there), so i'll probably spend some time walking threw the mall or other shopping. Maybe if its cool enough I'll just take some long walks (on a short pier. :-P Maybe the comedy pier. Haha, i make myslef laugh) So anyway..... Nothing else really exciting about ISF. The weather hasnt been passed on, but don't worry ISF peeps, it will be. Its that or I'll just have to update it while I'm there.
Sunday was a crazy day. I leave Bloomington IL at 6:30 without saying goodbye to anyone. :-( Although it might have been a good thing since im not good at goodbyes but then again its hard just to leave. So back to my story of sunday. So i get back home to Naperthrill at 8. I unpack my stuff. Say hi to everyone and was back on the road by 8:30. Why you might ask? We'll Terry asked me to help him move so I was off to Indiana to help. I got to his place at 10:30 (after spending 30 min getting lost) and we packed the truck till 7:00 at which point I left and come home ariving at home at 10:00. All those times are central. Yes it took me 1.5 hours to get to terry and 3 to get home. @#$%@# backups. It was cool helping terry. I dont know how he would have done it by himslef. It was also cool to see Alek, terry's baby. He's so cute, and looks just like terry with the long eyelashes. Alek was good for the first part of the packing and then he got alittle cranky. He just wanted to be held.
Since then I have been really bored. I wish I was on run crew for ISF cause it would atleast keep me busy. All my friends in Naperthrill work during the day. where as if i was doing ISF all my friends would be working the same hours. I did get a chance to work on some drafting. and I worked on my online portfolio some more. both seem like an endless battle.
Oh my, I almost forgot. I got to see Wicked yesterday. I really liked it. Even though I kept saying to myslef, "I know how they did that", it was still fun. I love how well it fit into the story of Wizard of Oz. It all made sence to what I remember. I will be getting real fimilar with Woz too since I'm designing it. And we'll see if I find anything that doesnt jive.
I find it ironic how I kept talking about courage in my away messages and I'm working on WoZ. How interesting. I really should just stop talking about not having courage cause it isnt helping anything. It's not like other people are going to change just cause I have more courage. (or will they?) Damn there I go again, overthinking everything and not knowing the truth. I wish there was a magic ball that could answer my questions without any reprocussions of hurt feelings. ok chris, its time to stop talking about this because its not getting you anywhere. you've had many people (even outside of people from ISF) tell you what to do. Yeah but..... No buts just do it and left the chips fall where they may. Even if nothing happens it will probably be better in the long run. Yeah I guess your right.
