I love the smell of rain, or maybe it's the smell right  before it rains.  So earthy, reminds me of childhood.

Made oatmeal cookies tonight.  They smell really good, but taste just a little off.  Not sweet enough or something.  I used butter instead of shortening or whatever it had called for.  Maybe that's why.

Painted my nails too.  I never used to

You're a really good writer, Katie. You're just so clear, and so good at exactly conveying your thoughts and emotions. You should seriously think about writing some stuff and trying to get it published.

I agree. You know what you mean to say and you write it in a way that conveys security. And I think, just from conversations with you, that you have very fresh ideas about things. Like, you have very fresh comparisons to relate, you know? You have a fresh perspective, and a lot to say.
