On Monday, Olvia was watching tv in the living room and I got up to get a bottle of water from the fridge.  As soon as I opened the refridgerator door Olivia said, "Mommy, I got a haircut!"  I ran into the living room and there were little piles of hair everywhere.  I instantly fell to the floor crying.  Olivia said, "Mommy, it's okay.  You can use the vaccum to clean it up".  I retrieved the scissors asking, "Why did you do that?"  Olivia gave no response.  I suppose she was in a state of shock watching her mom have a melt-down.  I picked up the hair, formed one single ball and set it on the kitchen counter.  I then grabbed for the cellphone and frantically called Rick, as if he could save the day.  "Olivia cut a huge chunk out of her hair" I said while gasping for breath.  His best advice was to take her to the Great Clips and get them to fix it.  He had to get back to school so I called Alex.  She lauged at me...a lot.  She also told me to quit hyperventilating and get a grip.  "It's just hair" she said.  "It will grow back".  Easy for her to say...considering she has more hair an austrailian sheepdog.

Bottom line is we think our child is cute no matter what.  Not to mention that her hair will eventually grow back out.

I go to my workplace tomorrow.  Olivia started daycare today.  I can't wait to pick her up at 3.
