Well, I finally did it. I pumiced my feet.
I was thinking that it would hurt (stone scraping against bare skin and all), but it actually felt nice. I soaked my feet first, per instructions, (actually I did it as soon as I hopped out of the shower, but since my feet were pruney from standing in the sudsy water, I figured it was all good) then did the whole circular motion thing. Interesting.
I'm very conscientious about my feet. It comes from having to wear dress shoes (faculty dress code) ten hours a day, standing for eight of them. Feet don't like that. No matter how much you spend on nice, soft socks and cushy soles. Bryan happens to like giving me foot rubs. I don't know why. I don't ask. He just grabs and rubs, and it feels so stress-relieving, I let him. Now I don't have to say no because my I think my feet are... less than pretty, soft and smooth. Which he says doesn't matter, but it bothers me all the same. You know how boys lie.
The semester ends Wednesday at 12:20. You think Finals are stressful as a student, try them as a teacher. Oy.
