Wigs
I'll be working on a synthetic wig tomorrow. Simple stuff, adding human hair wefts. Lots of wefts. After all this is for a Barbie Doll shoot and Barbie dolls to me mean OMG THAT'S A LOT OF HAIR! I MUST BRAID YOUR HAIR!
At least that was part of the allure of Barbie and My Little Ponies to me. I actually taught my dad how to braid my hair by practicing on and following my movements with a My Little Pony. Odd that a bomb technician didn't know how to braid now that I think about it....
Other than all this, there's little to no work here in Phoenix. My goal of making 1K each month feels like it's flying out the window as each day passes of my practically empty work calendar. I've emailed so many MUAs out here asking if they need assistants, applying to published crew books, calling agencies, putting ads on Craigslist, etc. I completely forgot about working for a theatre again. Guess I should try that too. And taxidermists.
Dear Mr.Obama - please just give me some money or tell SAG to move it on their strike, end it, and then let productions move along again so I can work and pay off my mortgage!
Or you can just give me money.
