Who me?
I decided to make an entry based on words from a "Random Word Generator". Basically: I suck at coming up with my own topics.
Random Word #1: Pronouncement -
For the longest time, I pronounced "particularly" like "par-tic-u-air-i-ly." Where the HECK did I get that pronouncement from? I had an inkling that I was wrong, but didn't fully realize it until a friend pointed it out during a drama rehearsal. Whoops.
Random Word #2: Bug -
I hate bugs. I really... really can't stand them. For some reason, the only bug I can stand are those little baby bees. When we were taking pictures for my sister's wedding, there were swarms of them around our bouquets. Bees actually scare me the most, so it was a little strange that I was cooing "Oh, they're so cute!"
Random Word #3: Yesterday -
Yesterday I had to cater. I only made $35 dollars and told my friend "They're a bit stingy with the money, eh?" I was there until ten o'clock.
Actually, when I hear the word yesterday, I think of The Beatles song. And then I remember how annoyed I am because on my Beatles CD it starts out as the beginning of Blackbird and then changes into Yesterday. Surprise!
Random Word #4: Cure -
I Am Legend made me vow now to get a cancer shot if they come out with one. Zombies scare me. Er -- Zombie/Vampires anyways. Weren't they full-blown vampires in the book?
Random Word #5: Incompatible -
"Can you please use that in a sentence?"
"Emily is incompatible with all of the boys in her town. For the lack of sweater-wearing and book-reading."
Random Word #6: Today -
Today I'm seeing Rent in theaters! The last performance that was taped. I'd rather not pay 20 dollars for it, but it'll be nice to get out of town.
Random Word #7: March -
I HATE MARCHING. I have absolutely no control over my tenor saxophone. I love concert band because that's when I have control and don't sound like a poor, dying seagull. We're doing a homecoming show to West Side Story and while that in itself is exciting, the marching is not.
Random Word #8: Jest -
I read someone awhile ago where someone said: "Surely you jest!" But now I can't remember what it's from! UGH that's frustrating.
Random Word #9: Package -
When we were doing a play, we had these pants that made us look like we had, as my friend put it, a 'package'. (It was true -- we did.) One of my more naive friends didn't know what a package was, and I giggle immaturely when I think about my friend explaining to her what it meant.
How do you not know that, anyways?
Random Word #10: Conservation -
Do you know what commercial I absolutely HATE? That WWF commercial with the soap-opera star about the polar bears. I love polar bears, I do, it just looks like they're giving false information. Plus the lady's annoying.
I have no creativity!
Though I am wearing a sweater-vest and feel quite dashing.
