compliments,emotions,all that good stuff...or something
I was in the lunch line today and I didn't notice it until now but I got one of the best compliments about my acting ability today that Ive got in a long time. I was in the lunch line while waiting for my macaroni and cheese with ham (eww) and a girl named Christina who has been in my last two vhs theatre plays, asked me "how drama is going?" and I told her what I have told her throughout this school year what I thought about it and that is that "I love the course, but I hate the class because theyre not serious and they talk too much..."
Then our career center lady popped up and joined in the little lunch line talk and looked at me stupid because I said "I didn't like it" and Christina told her that "Im a serious actor" and then our career center lady, Mrs. Fletcher told Christina in a bragging way, "You know, I was in one of his plays." After that was said the whole convo went on about how Christina was in the play too and what play it was..
but I never thought about it until now that that line "You know, I was in one of his plays" was a compliment until I thought about it. She was bragging to someone, that she was in one of my plays that I have been in.
You know you a pretty darn good actor when someone brags about being in a play with you...
Anyways...Ive had a pretty decent week so far, I just really hope we pull this play off with a drama class whose not that interested in theatre or this play but I hope it comes together..
