I'm Still Alive!
Howdy Everyone. Surprised to hear from me?!
Just a quick entry to let people know that I'm still kickin'.
I'm a first grade music teacher, and it is quite an experience.
I'm a cast member in the mainstage opera as well as in the opera workshop--both experiences are really pushing me to get out there as a performer and to really sing!
I'm in the choir and madrigal singers. We're going to DC in a few weeks. However, we won't actually be PERFORMING there.
Midterms were last week and I have quite a bit of work to do in Form and Analysis and Choral Conducting.
Oh and did I mention private voice?
It's so much work to be an excellent singer, teacher, conductor, piano player, acter..etc. I really need to let go of my inhibitions--because they are really holding me back. I came to school and I got into my shell. This is a very pro-active major, and so I need to act accordingly.
