Tonight is the senior prom for Milford High School students. How FUN!? Driving home, I see students in their tuxes or dresses posing outside their homes for pictures. hey, remember prom? That was like two years ago. shiit. For my junior prom, I drove 5 people in my mom's van. It was kick-ass.

I've been home for a week and a half and nothing too interesting has happened to me. I went to Boston three times. Once with Stephanie where we walked along the harbor, and then sang in a competition to win tickets to the Tony Awards. I freakin' sang "Some Enchanted Evening" in the middle of Macy's at downtown crossing, and all I got was some Lacoste product. Ah, well. It was a pretty good parting gift. I went to Cambridge on Sunday with Ezra to see Dave Brubeck (famous jazz pianist) live, with free tickets that my dad's boss gave to me. Dave Brubeck made the song "Take Five" famous, and he and his quartet played it as the last piece. The drum solo in that piece was 10 minutes long. I thought they were all going to pass out from exhaustion because they're all over 75 yrs of age. It was kickin' though; some of the most energetic playing I've heard in a long time. I just got back from Boston today to fill out paperwork for my DMH job. I start on Tuesday in Worcester. I heart working for the attorneys. I need to make some serious $$$, like woah--considering i spent TONS on my car before getting home from Ithaca.

I've seen most of the holliston people so far. I had a lovely time with Ashley last night, at our annual Hitchcock movie night. We saw Rebecca, a movie from 1940 that was surprisingly excellent. We also had an interesting conversation about mental health and nutrition, both topics I am quite passionate about.

I spent much time relaxing or doing chores/running errands for my family. This week all three cars had to go to the mechanic. How unfun. Spending time at home by myself is good. I watched lots of Unsolved Mysteries, and did some singing and piano-ing. I need to keep those chops up, for I'll start my junior student teaching this Fall semester. How exciting?!

I need to find a man this summer. I've done very little all year. I have been too caught up hanging out with straight guys, and as much as I love them, I'm a little lonely. However, I don't think I want an actual relationship, especially since I'll be going back to school in mid-late august. I just dunno what's out there. hmmm

In other news...
Panera Bread is absolutely fabulous

I need to exercise more

and I miss my brothers
