Good Use of Free Time
Putting a hex on the Yankees. So, I wanted to see a baseball game before I left, and the Mets are on the road. So I gathered some people (who could care less about baseball, but that's beside the point) and ride out to the Bronx. And after sitting through the insufferable Derek Jeter lovefest. (Ooo... he's off the DL, let's show documentaries about how great he is!) And the colorful crowd. (It's New York in the bleacher seats "without alcohol" behind the Angels bullpin. Use your imagination. Then add more foul language. I pity the guy who showed up in a Mets jacket.) I got to witness Mussina's first lose of the season. It's sadistic to be happy about that. But I am. Go Angels! Just thought I'd share. (Coming home in four days including today!)
