Halloween Horror Nights Trip Report *SPOILERS* READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Got to the park around 5 o'clock. Waited around the gates until 6:30 when they opened....there were quite long lines waiting to enter the park.
FIELD OF SCREAMS (Scare Zone)= Right around the corner of Cat in the Hat. A trailer outside a cornfield and ther's this women taunting you. Freaky Hick folk walking around and then...the chainsaw guys. I saw one and ran and he chased me and cornered me and then another chainsaw dude came and cornerered me I ran into the corn and then tripped over a stack of hay and then ran out. Hahaha. Not funny. Anyways. The scenery wasn't too scary. It was a paved road and the corn was surrounding you and there was a line of corn down the middle dividing the road. They had people disquised as corn. Pretty funny. The scary people shouted things like "Are you afraid of chainsaws little boy?" and I got seperated from the group and no one was around.
HORROR IN WAX (house)= In a warehouse. The outside was this abandoned building that had posters of all the attractions that were there and they had a movie theatre-esque billboard that read "ClOsEd". As you entered it's all wax. Then the next room was where the fun began. It went through 'The Wolf Man', 'The Mummy', 'Invisible Man', 'Dracula', Some freaky dolls and there was a room of a bunch of wax body parts...weird. So yeah Dracula scared me and um so did the whole freakin' thing.
GHOST TOWN (house)= My group went in and I was left behind because they forgot me. So I went through it...by myself. You entered and you see a barn with a hick sitting on the fence and he's warning you about the town. Well the next room is the Saloon. There's a bar and a bartender and this fat guy sitting in a chair. The next room is all the hotel rooms in the Inn next door and doors fly open and people shout at you and this little girl up in the corner popped out and was like...."ARE YOU SCARED" "COME AND PLAY" "THIS WAY!". Scared me. The church was the awesome. This guy was making caskets and he's like "THIS IS THE PERFECT SIZE FOR YOU!!!!" Quite funny and there were weird women all like....."COME AND PRAY FOR US!!!!". Then you enter into a mine shaft and it smells like dirt and manuer. It was gross. In the mine, the walls were 2 by 4's blocking the dirt and people were behind them banging on the wood. This wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. I jumped 1 time and that's about it.
CASTLE VAMPYR (house)= 1 freakin word. HOTTTTTTTT! THIS HOUSE WAS SOOOOOOOOO HOTTTT! Vampires are so sexy. Ok you enter this realllly reallly cold warehouse and it transforms into the front of a castle with gargoyle statues and broken statues of people and then a carriage and trees knocked down. A vampire bride was outside. You enter into the main entrance way and end up in the Great Hall with the Grand Staircase and this really hot seductive Vampire was on the stairs. Oh and behind the main door was a really creepy vampire guy. The seductive vampire was all like well hello there we screamed cat calls at her and she loved it. Quite funny. The next room was the dining room. A vampire tells you to stay and eat then this really loud growl occurs and a vampire jumps up behind you. The cast looked so amazing with daggers and shields and swords on the walls and the music suited the mood. The room was a creepy hallway with paintings that opened and vampires popped out. And there were white manequin women dressed in all white outfits with red curtains behind them. One of them was real and she said something Romanian and then this women stares at you in the wall. Creepy. The next room was the library and there was a vampire floating above you. It was awesome. He was like hello there. He was a distraction because as soon as you look up a vampire jumps out and tries to bite you. Then you walked down this long hallway and the red curtains were blowing in because of the wind and the vampires jumped out and scared you. The next room was a bedroom. With a vampire chick on the bed in lingerie and she's pretty much having an orgasm then this really scary vampire guy jumped out and made my happy feeling go away. Oh well. The a room with all these creepy vampires flying at you. They were wearing bungee cords. Really cool effect. You had to go upstairs at some point I forgot wear. But then there was another room that was all white and there were body bags and heavy metal techno playing and these vampire chicks saw us raving through it and were like "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS? A RAVE?" it was hilarious. Then you went downstairs and out. Some guy was behind the stairs and was like...AHHHH!H!H!H!H!H!H!H!H!H It was horribly scary.
THIS WAS THE BEST HOUSE EVERRRR!!!
FRIGHT YARD (scare zone)= A heavy metal world....an apocalyptic feel. You walked into an abandoned freight yard. It was all metal and they had spray painted everything and there were flame throwers above you and there were...more...chainsaw guys. I got scared and cornered again and chased around too much and cornered and chased and then I ran out.
HELLGATE PRISON (house)= You enter through an old metal detector and then you enter the prison and you begin in the phone booth section and the prisoners talk to you. Then a prisoner told me if he was my daddy he would be gentle. It was hilarious yet gross at the same time. The prisoners were popping out like crazy screaming nasty obscenities. It was like a real prison (been to one so I've heard some crazy things in my days) Dude they had a real actor sitting on the electric chair. I can't describe what I saw. He was shaking like crazy.....like so fast you could hardly see him. I felt sick at that part. Then there were some medical beds and this guy was jumping up and down say "I'm gonna die you're gonna die. We're all gonna die!" Then there were some unknown rooms and more prisoners screaming. My second time around, they added this new thing it was like cages and their were like 4 different paths you could take and they wound around and then you got out and people banged on the cages at you....crazy.
DISORIENTORIUM (house)= You enter through a swirling vortex and then they had mixed up colored rooms like black and white checkered with people that color and then a black room with polka dots and people in black with polka dot bodies....I got so scared in this one. and then this room with silver and and then....a mirror maze. I went down the wrong way and I didn't see this clown and he popped out in front of me and I cried. Yes, I cried.
That's about all I can remember is me crying.
HORROR NIGHTS NIGHTMARES (house)= HOLY GOODNESS! THIS WAS THE SCARIEST THING I HAVE EVER BEEN IN! You enter into the past 4 years of Halloween Horror Nights, with Jack the Clown, Eddie The Maniac (banned due to 9/11), The Caretaker, and the director. Well you enter into an abandoned movie theatre with a women convulsing on the wall next to the door and a pile of theatre chairs and a projected, projected onto a screen and you enter into a hallway with film strips, and canisters on the walls. The director is all like "I want you....I want you big boy.....hello young lady.....fresh meat" and that good stuff. He has dead victims of his films all around and this women was reaching out for my hand and i felt bad for her....even though it was fake she looked so scared and sad. Then the Jack room. OMG! I was sooooo scared. I was crying. Yes crying....yet again. I mean it was so bad. They popped in my face and screamed and this one clown was like "WHAT'S WRONG LITTLE BOY! YOU HAVE A CHILDHOOD FEAR OF CLOWNS" and I cried in his face and cowered on Amy's shoulder. Then as we left the clown room this clown goes "AMY!!!AMYY!!!!!!I WANNA GET OUT!!!!THERE'S CLOWNS IN HERE!!!!!!WAHHHH!!!!!"
Then came the Caretaker. Not so scary. A church. Then Eddie, a chainsaw weilding freak. You know I was. I began to cry again because they were everywhere. Like the chainsaw people were behind 2 by 4's and through the house they popped and and swung the chainsaw in your face and I was crying. Then you had to through swinging blankets....OMG! The chainsaw people were after me and i cried harder and then at the exit i ran into the chainsaw guy and he cornered me and chased me out and then I fell to the floor hypervenating, quaking in fear and people were laughing at me.
DEADTROPOLIS (house)= NASTY! It was pretty much the end of the world I was kind of lost with the storyline because in the queue they played the cursed tape from the ring. Then they said that everyone was turning into zombies. Well anyways they used the Earthqauke ride for this house and it was so gross. Well first off this zombie crashed out a window...and puked on me. It smelled like Sour cream and onion chips....so gross. Then that's about all I remember because it's practically the same. A creepy city. Oh except when you walked by the trams....ahhh! Uhm, the zombies were coming out of the windows and from below. Weird. Then the ending, you walked in the sewer and nasty water fell on you.
BILL AND TED'S (show)= Only about 45 minutes long this year.
George Bush and John Kerry were kidnapped by Dr. Evil. He was going to run for president with Mr. Burns as his Vice President. With appearances by Donald Trump, Harry Potter, Paris and Nicole Hilton, Mary-Kate and Ashley, Garfield, Wicked Witch of the West, Darth Vader, the Fab 5, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson. It was weird. They built up a plot and it was like they didn't even finish writing the show. It just ended and nothing happened. It wasn't as good as previous years.
THE PARADE = I got loads of beads...end of story.
