Email and Spam
Now here is a curious thing.
I signed onto gmail because I got so much SPAM from Hotmail.
Now I still much prefer Gmail and use it for all my friends emails but in the last couple of months the SPAM to my gmail spam box has far exceeded the spam to my Hotmail junk box.
In fact I'm hardly getting any actual spam to hotmail anymore. Only email from websites that I have signed up for.
Could it be that me religiously marking the spam according to Hotmails little pop up is actually working?
The other point is that apparently not putting your email address on a website does not stop you getting spamed. I use Hotmail for any internet dealings and as far as I know have only used Gmail for personal emails to friends and known emails.
