You push and you pull and you run rings around everything you thought you knew, and eventually you'll end up right back where you started. I have so much to say and so little time, but there are college essays to be written and Bard students to be e-mailed and Kenyon Colleges to be visited and a whole new world to be considered. 1.) I do, actually. I was friends with two people for a few years, and we gradually grew apart, and I've never been completely happy with that. I don't think we were close or similar enough to have remained friends our whole lives, but I shared a very personal time of my life with them and I often wish they'd stuck around, even though it's probably just as much my fault as it is theirs.
2.) I don't know if you mean real or simulated, but I'd really like to do the latter, just to see if I could be that good an actress.
3.) Maybe me. I perform, but not to the extent that some of my friends do, who make it a point to sing every chapel service and constantly point out that they're singers and brag about their skills. Singing's a very personal thing for me, because it's one of the most intimate instruments that you can have, and I don't like having people hear that.

5.) Oh god no. I hate physical contact, but I'm a complete nymphomaniac if I really fancy the person. And, you know, sometimes a hand squeeze is good, too.
6.) Totally.

I meant simulated. :)

I agree about singing. It's like your soul is wandering around the room; I don't sing, but I see it on other people's faces when they do it.

Haha, I figured, but hey, the other could be cool, too. ;-)

Every other instrument is a measure of your skill and talent, too, but because singing literally comes from inside you, it's like showcasing a part of yourself, and that makes me feel really vulnerable. Also, sob, your icon!

I never really cried at Harry Potter. Sirius' death was met with "Aw, no" and a turn of the page, and I got a little misty at Dumbledore's. But when Dumbledore said, "Even after all this time?" and Snape said, "Always," I was GONE.
