My great grandmother passed away last monday. u__u; she's 105 or 106 yrs old. im not sure. I feel lonely, but at her age and condition, the family was already expecting it. My great grandmother was Ilocano, she cant speak tagalog, I remember last time she was feeling sick, and she kept on saying (mumbling) about her pains.. I was with her in Antipolo, and i cant understand a thing, only a word or two.. what i did was massage her stomach (because thats where the pain was i think) and hummed a song (lullaby). I hummed the tune of one of the chinese song i know.. and within 5mins shes already asleep.. I cried while humming.. i even cried beside her while she was asleep. When she died, my mom said she looked at peace.. I mean, finally shes in good hands. As rjene have said, she really lived a full life. although i cant speak ilocano, i love you my gwa thai ma.
