i guess it's time to update my life
SO here it is folks....my life in the past couple of months.
Babes in arms cast...totally missing them like woah.
After babes in arms closed, i ended up hanging out with Mike from work a lot. And really late into the evening. We'd just drive around talking for hours. That was all. TOo bad that it ended hwen we both lost interest in eachother. We're still friends...but clearly for both of us, the long talks and the drives were just both of us trying to get with the other. And now...not so much. BUt thats ok, cause he introduced me to his friend Jp, who now I'm dating...seeing..whatever you wanna call it. Don't call him my boyfriend cause we aren't there yet...and we may never get there. But still, he's very sweet, very romantic.
For instance..........
Our first date he told me he wanted to take me somewhere and it would be a surprise. So I, hating surprises when I know they are coming aske dhim for a hint. he said "It has a great view". that hint suddenly made me think of Mount Washington. Mount Washington has been my IDEAL date spot for years. Dad used to take me up there when I was a little girl and we'd over look the city and he'd say "i used to take your mother up here. It's a beautiful spot for a first date" and ever since I was little I agreed with my dad and always wanted to go there for a date. Well, all I said to Jp was "you know what has a great view? Mount Washington." and he goes "Well...thanks for killing the surprise girl." ANd then I nearly peed my pants. I asked him repeatedly...even when we were on the date, if he was really intending to take me there or if he had changed it when I mentioned that and he said "no, in all honesty, I promise you...this was where I was planning." So the romanticness of that night and our long talk over looking the city made me the happiest girlw hen I got home.
NExt night, he took me out again and thist ime it was a surprise and I wasn't allowed any hints. "Not like you'll guess it anyways" he told me. SO he picked me up and we drove for about 25 minutes. We ended up at this overlook of a large hillside that was mckeesport and surrounding area. It was beautiful. And when we got there i thought "What are we gonna do here this whole time" and he said "thats not all....." he reached behind him and he pulled out a portable dvd player and we watched Hitch in his car. It was simply beautiful.
In talking to him he told me that he used to do the plays at his school before he got to highschool, and he always wanted to take up acting but never did. So I suggested to him tonight that we go see THe Incoruptable at AHP tomorrow night and he said yes. So thats where we are going tomorrow night. I'm excited. Ig et to actually go see a show with a straight guy. TEN POINTS!!
What else....Oh man, I forgot to take my adderal wednesday when I went to work, and eveyrone thought i had gone crazy. I was soo happy to be alive, and just hyper as all hell...and everyone was like "mallory, calm down". Well tonight, I took my medication and I came into work all calm, collected, and looking slightly pissed off. BUt that is my general attitude for the first hour while my body gets used to the change. Well Mike apparantly was disappointed that I wasn't making fun of him, and he said "I like the non medicated mallory better. She makes fun of me!"
This is sooo true. i'm sooo much more int he mood to make fun of him when I'm unmedicated. but whatever.
So, pretty much...I love my life.
OH MY GOD HOW COULD I FORGET!? I finished my 60 hours of community service today. GLORIOUS! it's amazing. It means that I don'th ave to wake up early ever again except for sunday mornings when i work 9-5. but thats ok. Oneday a week won't kill me.
Ok, so pretty m uch...I love my life, I have great friends, I have STRAIGHT friends, I have a job that I actually don't despise going to, I'm dating a guy who is really a great person and who knows where this will go,I've finished my community service hours, school starts up soon, and since april i've lost 27 pounds. WOOHOO!!! "Take a damn good look at me now!"
