I think this last week may have been one of the best of my exchange. I can't tell if that's a good thing or not.
I went to this retreat for my exchange organization. There were about 40 kids from 14 different countries. These were honestly some of the most down-to-earth, outgoing, fun people I have ever met. It was very cool to see us all interacting; finding so much in common and making really close friendships in such a short period of time. It was one of those groups that just clicked. Everyone got along really well, and we had such a good time. Did I mention they were fun? I don't think I got to bed before 3am every night. And the last night we didn't sleep at all. Ahhh I'm going to miss them.
One of the neatest things about these friendships is that now I've got places to stay all over the world. And people from all over the world to come and stay with me, if they ever make it to Seattle.
I am completely and totally sure now that I want to do heaps of traveling; meet as many different people and learn about as many different cultures as I possibly can. I don't mean to sound cheesy, but we learn so much from these experiences. I'm pretty damn sure this exchange has changed me... for the better. :)
The leaders. 3 of which were 18 or 19.
Me and my aussies. I cannot wait to go visit them.
Sunbathing at Cannes. Too bad the film festival is in May.
The one thing I can say about Columbians is that they sure do know how to party.
View of Monaco from the city's "exotic gardens."
We did an all you can eat buffet. And actually ate all that we physically could.
I just like this picture.
The last night. We had a costume party. And of course, there had to be guys in drag.
Cutecute japanese girls. And very sweet.
The transformation is complete.
The whole group.
