So, French class today...
Alright, so first of all, my class has absolutly zero respect for our french teacher. It's already like a zoo in there everytime we have the class. They guys try to be as annoying as humanly possible. And they do a damn good job of it, too. Drumming on the desks, pounding on the walls, throwing things, and making obscene noises.
Anyways, at the start of class today, the teacher announces that she "seems to have misplaced" a few students homework. Well these few students are actually about 8, and the homework is the essays we turned in about a week ago. So, since the french type nothing, this means they all have to redo their 3-5 page essays, and turn them in tomorrow. So naturally, they all start protesting. Then the teacher starts defending herself. Soon, they are all shouting, trying to be heard over one another. And the guys have started their usual noisy proceedings.
All of a sudden, this one kid stands up and yells: "This is scandalous, absolutely SCANDALOUS!! I'm going to talk to the counselor right now!!" and heads for the door. Well, this does not sit well with the teacher, and she literally charges at him and starts yelling at the top of her lungs for him to sit back down, that she will not be treated this way by her students, yadda yadda yadda, all the things teachers say when they're pissed. Obviously her intention was to scare everyone into shutting up and obeying her, but the effect is the exact opposite. Everyone starts cracking up. Our french teacher is not a small woman, and seeing her erupt like this is actually really amusing.
Well, finally some semblance of order returns to the classroom and she apologizes and tells the kids' whose papers she lost they have a week to redo them.
It was insane, hysterical, and, oh yes, scandalous.
