1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?

Traveled to Vegas.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

I don't really make New Year's resolutions, simply because I know I'll probably never keep them.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

Shaun's finance(e?) and Sean's sister.

4. Did anyone close to you die?

Yes:( My dad and my grandma.

5. What countries did you visit?

The good ole' U S of A.

6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?

More frequent flier miles.

7. What dates from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

Feb. 14, Dec. 22

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

Helling the hell out of Shelbyville, surviving Orlando and everything that went with it

9. What was your biggest failure?

My biggest failure of 2006 led to my biggest success...so I don't really consider it a failure in the grand scheme of things.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?

Just the run of the mill diabetic stuff...and that little episode at Jess's wedding.

11. What was the best thing you bought?

Plane tickets...several times around.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?

Sean's.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?

President Bush. He's our national embarassment and he's soiled our reputation in the western world. He will never be forgiven for that and, apparently, the electorate agrees with me. ~I agree with James on that one.

14. Where did most of your money go?

Money? What money?

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

Getting engaged.

16. What song will always remind you of 2006?

Anything Pussycat Dolls.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:

a) happier or sadder? Happier
b) thinner or fatter? Not sure. Probably about the same.
c) richer or poorer? Richer in life...not sure about financially.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?

Standing up for what I believe in.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?

Wasting time on the internets *hahahhahah*

20. How will you be spending New Year's?

I'm hoping asleep.

21. Did you fall in love in 2006?

Yup.

22. How many one-night stands?

I'm fairly certain my last one was in 2005...

23. What was your favorite TV program?

Project Runway
Top Chef
Grey's Anatomy...but on DVD so I'm not sure it counts.

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?

Not really...

25. What was the best book you read?

I have no clue...I've read too many books to remember.

26. What was your greatest musical discovery?

I got Bea's CD in the mail...so I guess Bea.

27. What did you want and get?

A sparkly.

28. What did you want and not get?

A threesome with Gwen Stefani and Owen Wilson....

29. What was your favorite film of this year?

Cars. How sad and wrong is that?

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?

I went to Arlington just before my birthday. On my actual birthday I sat at home and ate cake.

31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?

I'm pretty happy with the end result of my year...thanks.

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?

Depends on the day. If I'm actually going out a good fitting pair of jeans and a fitting tank top...whatever that is.

33. What kept you sane?

Sean.

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?

I haven't really followed all that.

35. What political issue stirred you the most?

Health care.

36. Who did you miss?

Jess, Rachel, Shaun

37. Who was the best new person you met?

Sean, Celeen, Craig, Emilie, Andy...all the Decatur people...

Don't quit wishing.
