This weekend was awesome. We went to see Midsummer Night's Dream at SJSU on Thursday, and not only was it a treat to see my work on stage...it was a really good show! I also got to reconnect with some folks that I don't see nearly often enough.
Friday Michael and I made some mead and got together with Brooke. It was a relaxed and wonderful day. In the evening (with Brooke) we watched a movie and relaxed.
Saturday morning we had a good round of gaming, and in the evening it was a dinner with some friends. I was really glad to see everyone, and posting here really doesn't do the evening justice. I could go on and on, but I will be good and simply sum up the evening: good friends, good food, fun times. I miss you all already.
Sunday began with a family birthday breakfast, and went on to Michael and I spending the evening in Menlo Park. It was again a relaxed and quiet evening filled with pizza, beer, and Portal. (OMG, crazy game!)
I took the train back this morning and went to classes.
Tonight is the last eve of my 22nd year. I wonder if 23 will feel any different tomorrow? I hope not, I'm really happy where I am. *smiles*
I'd like to give a shout out to my fellow birthday buds Tahlorn (Michael), and Dominique. Happy birthday you guys. I couldn't have chosen two more wonderful folks to share my birthday week with.
On a slightly less local note, Happy Birthday to Ms. M (lunaladyoflight) who shares my actual birthday day! I'm wishing you a wonderfully happy tomorrow. <3
