Chris and Louisa update
Louisa called a little while ago. She sounded very chipper, told me about how she went with daddy to the hospital to watch them change his bandages and took pictures so she can show everyone at home. I talked to Chris, too. He sounded in good spirits, thanks to the pain meds. He's just on codeine now, not morphine, and he said they both slept well. I still don't know exactly how they are getting home, but Chris doesn't think it will be a problem.
I think he's going to go absolutely insane without the use of his hands, but aside from that, it looks like things are going to be ok.
I was going to ask for his help building a new duck pen in the next week. I guess he'll just have to supervise. It's time to get going on that. The duck is getting big and more should be hatching soon.
