01. What are your goals for the future? Are you working toward a 'dream career'?
I am not very much interested in building the career. In the future I hope to have a family and children and I don't think the work to be very important. I would love to be a web-designer or translator (my second education) and I will probably achieve it. Currently I'm working as engineer-architect (my first profession).
02. If you could visit any place in the world, where would you go? Why?
Saint-Petersburg (my favourite city I'm always happy to visit), Germany and Munich in particular (to watch my favourite football team, FC Bayern Munich I'm the fan of since 2001, playing) or Canada (where my favourite actor is from, I also think this country is in some ways similar to where I live, so it would be interesting). I also adore to be anywhere near the water - lakes, rivers or sea. I would love to visit the Maldives or some magnificent place on the seaside.
03. What is the significance behind your username?
I wanted to have a username tied with my favourite character, Anakin Skywalker/Lord Darth Vader (Star Wars Saga), who was obviously the Sith Lord, and "romantic" came out somehow naturally - because he became the Sith for love or because I'm myself the very romantic person or because we both are. So this is how the "sith_romantic" appeared. I must say I love my username very much, it became the part of me long ago.
04. Do you have a favorite historical period and/or subject? If not, what subjects do you prefer instead?
I'm not that much of a history person, but I like everything that tied with the period of Peter I the Great, since Saint-Petersburg was built during that time. My favourite subjects in school and University were math and languages (in addition to my native, Russian, language I speak English and German). I also was always interested in law and psychology.
05. Can you name any hated character(s) in your fandoms that you happen to love?
My favourite character and this is the reason why I don't consider myself a part of the Star Wars fandom.
06. Pick your favorite fandom. If you could change one thing about the story, what would it be?
Anakin Skywalker's fandom, not the Star Wars in general. I would change the result of the duel on Mustafar.
07. What program(s) do you use when making graphics? Do you have any favorite techniques, styles, and/or tools?
I'm currently using Adobe Photoshop CS5, but prefer the 3rd version of this program. I usually use a lot of textures set on the "Soft Light" mode that creates the soft shine on the icons, grey textures on the "Lighten" mode to make them less contrasted and a bit old-stylish and light textures on the "Lighten" and "Screen" modes. My ideal is naturally coloured, but bright graphics. But I also feel very comfortable in the field of black and white art.
08. What are your other hobbies, besides making graphics?
Moderating the icon contest community (anakin_icontest), my collection dedicated to Anakin Skywalker (collectible figures, statues and replicas), watching football, photography, travelling, visiting parks and botanical gardens, watching movies with my friends, music (singing, attending concerts and simply listening of course), origami, painting.
09. Which fictional character do you relate most to? Why?
I think it is already obvious. XD Anakin Skywalker. I feel the very deep connection with him, he is the dearest person to me and my role-model. Someone who feels to be the second part of me. We share a lot of views on life and cherish the same things and qualities - love, friendship, loyalty, honesty, kindness, ability to always have a hope and never give up. Also I think we are both dreamers, idealists, perfectionists, a bit childish and out-of-this-world.
10. Can you remember your first fandom? Are you still active there?
I think it were bandoms first - Britney Spears, EMINEM, Linkin Park. I wasn't ever active in any online activities tied with them, apart from making a few icons of LINKIN PARK, but I still adore their music (and attended their concert a month ago) and still kinda like the first two artists as well. Same goes to the Harry Potter universe. So the Star Wars (or the part of it to be correct) is the first and only fandom I ever was and am still active in.
