Benevolent Acorn
So I haven't painted for a couple weeks just because everything has just been far to busy. I am working on some knitting projects for friends so that is a little bit creative at least. I am also still tending to the Art collection at Blue Moon Coffee Cafe which by the way I will be changing over tomorrow evening to Jesse Vadnais a local painter and there will be a reception Friday the 9th from 5 or 6 until 9.
I contacted a woman in Saint Paul and spoke to her a little about the local art Scene and she had some good advice for me.... all things I probably already knew but it was good to hear it from someone else. I am heading in the right direction having the website and everything and getting out there into shows and competitions and everything but I need to network more... which I am good at with my own circle of friends and their friends but I need to seek out more artsy people.... which means having more conversations with more people at openings and shows and stuff... and I need to start treating it more like a job. Actually schedule "art time" in and out of the studio. Its true. I need to do this...
And I need to update the website. I NEED TO! I don't have anything new on there. I need to get it finished too.....
