Caspica
The golden river city. Depends on trade and commerce of other cities and the supplies grown in the farmlands outside the city walls. Fell prior to the Descent. New Caspica was built once the gates opened, but due to general paranoia only the lowest rings are used.
Winnifred (Wealth)
Based upon major cultural influences of the Orient and the United Kingdom. Politics is more Victorian influenced, with the religion being more firmly based on Asian systems.
Major physical characteristics of a Caspican:
- Typically darker skinned
- Red hair is a trait held in high regard
- High cheekbones and voluptuous forms. Caspica is a country of commerce, hense not much labour being conducted.
Omacaro
Land submerged in sand. Cities were built similar to the architecture of the Pueblo Indians, or else those of the ancient Aztec or Myan, without much vertical building. The wind and sun are the most dangerous elements, and in a futile attempt to keep the people alive, their patron God laid upon them somehting that has not yet been decided as a blessing or a curse.
Daven (The Cure)
Poorly armed race of people with the curious talent to be immune to all forms of disease. Due to this curious talent and the lack of self-defense, the Omacarans sadly became a common slave race.
Major characteristics of an Omacaran:
- Skin more prone to being a 'cinnamon' shade (that of a Native American or Indian)
- Curiously flourescently bright eyes with the reflective properties of a cat
- Gold jewelry (part of their religion and culture)
- Slightly pointed ears in some cases (a trait that eventually dies out due to inter-breeding. Families with a higher percentage of Omacaran blood have a slight possibility of passing this trait to offspring)
Lyrunanum
The trinity forest. Ground of Lyrin, Lysander and Lyra. The vast unforgiving forest becomes Lyrins' solitary hiding place. Lyra takes root in the valleys and Lysander takes to the higher plateus and mountains. The three distinct countries are united under one banner, as it has always been. After the Desent, the fight to keep the trinity together almost fails.
Lysander (Valour) Lyra (Compassion) Lyrin (Lonliness)
Protected by the snowy-capped mountain range and the ocean, the Lyrunanum stood proudly under one banner and the first sure sign of united countired before the Descent. Culture is highly influenced by Pagan nature respect and, simultaneously (though the rise of civilization eventually supercedes the need for the preservation of nature) an almost distinctly British culture. The Lyrunanum made no significate headway in wars, science, weapons or politics, but were a plesant people and managed well enough on their own when avoiding the Froest.
SPECIAL NOTE: The Lyrunanum is the widly speculated birthplace of the Faerie.
Major characteristics of a Lyrun:
- Valley and Forest citizens tend to be much shorter than those on the mountains.
- Small faces with small cheekbones
- Small lips and noses
- A tendency to get premature silver/grey hairs starting as early as 14-16 years of age
Stovin
Capitol of War. Stovin is the country where the metal works never stop pumping and the art of death is as common as a painting. Stovites are hard, untrusting people who will take their secrets to the grave. After the Descent, paranoia in Stovin got bad enough that they locked themselves away almost as badly as Caspica, before the populaces' sense of self-preservation won out and they opened their doors just in time for the Godless War.
Jace (Strength) Marvey (Balance)
Stovin is the closest equivalent to a Russian/American/Chinese World War hyped superpower. Culturally, Stovites are more bohemian themed in fashion and architecture, but with a strict and cold Soviet tinge. Stovin is not a place to flaunt your religion, you might just get killed for it.
Major characteristics of a Stovite:
- Pale skin
- Most common birthplace of the common Celtic/Irish idea of a freckled redhead
- Coarse, strong body build
- Tattoos more common than most (socially acceptable for a politician to have a tattoo showing)
