One of my teachers is in Mame, and apparently this show has been a big deal for a long time. There are also a few seniors from Cornish interning in it.

I can't wait to see it!
(PS - Don't remember if I posted this already, but I had to turn down the Seattle Rep job as a fundraiser -- after I said yes -- ... 23hrs/wk is too much with the schedule I already have, so I'm going to take the dumb American Eagle job. At least it's easy... right?)
[EDIT] We also recently just got cast in the new scenes we're doing after spring break: the play is August Snow by Reynolds Price, and my role is Taw. (I'm SO ecstatic that I got a reasonable scene partner -- the number of people I didn't want to work with took up more fingers than could fit on one hand.) But what sucks is that I don't like the play. It's vapid, and nothing speaks to me. Please bear in mind that this does NOT happen to me. I'm always hungry for the work, but frankly, this text is pretty dry. We'll see what happens.
