Street Art

I've just been doing some research to find out the names behind some of the iconic street art I've noticed and loved around the city and thought I'd share.

White Mike does the Great White Sharks to raise awareness of their huge population drop.

Skullphone does the eponymous skulls with telephones and the skeleton Pegasus that Kim and I noticed in an abandoned Malibu gas station and fell in love with. She wants it tattooed on her back.

El Mac makes beautiful stylized portraits, often working with Retna (who does the stylized symbols in the background), like in this one that I pass by often.

I drive by this one by D*Face a lot on my way back from the studio.
