So, the 12th was my birthday, and I had a very good day. The 11th was James' birthday!
On the 11th, Julie picked me up at around 3 and we watched movies until we went to pick up my sister at the airport. After we picked her up, we went to get burritos and talk about random girl shit. After which, we went to Extraordinary Desserts where I got chocolate rum cake, which was really, really good.
In the morning, I woke up, and got bombarded by 'Happy Birthday's' galore. Pretty sweet thing to wake up to. Later, my family and I went out to the Corvette Diner to get some burgers and shakes. I got happy birthday sung to me by the staff, and I tried to act embarrassed, but I wasn't.
We left the diner, and we went to Seaport Village for about 10 minutes, so my sister and I could ride the merry-go-round. It was probably the funnest part of the day. My dad failed miserably at trying to take pictures of us on it, but I forgave him. Haha.
So, we went home to get ready for my party at Rollerskate Land. Took a shower, yadda yadda, then we went. On the way, I called the radio to request a song, and the DJ dedicated it to me, and told pretty much all of San Diego where my party was, much to my dismay. Hahaha. He also told me not to grow up too fast, which I thought was sweet.
And alas, at the party, we go, and set things up and I got my skates on. It's like riding a bike, you don't really forget how. Patrick showed up at around 7:30-ish and we skated around together until more people showed up.
All in all, I had a great, great time. The next day I bought myself the ATHF V3 DVD and spent my day watching 'Total ReCarl' and 'Frat Aliens'.
the end!
