The week in review (Big News!)
I visited the college to get some tutoring in programming... we got distracted and watched anime instead. But that's alright... I understand enough programming to get by in Game Development. As for Graphic Design...
I realized my problem with Graphic design isn't with programming stuff in Flash: it's, well, graphic design. Everyone else is using these weird art programs I've never heard of, let alone used. They know how to put things together in aesthetically pleasing ways. They're already experimenting with timelines and buttons, and I have absolutely no fucking clue what I'm doing or how I'm supposed to be doing it. This class was a mistake. I think I'm going to have to drop it.
Short story time: Fifteen or sixteen years ago, my younger brother Glenn pitched a very hard object into my mouth at point blank range. This caused a chip in one of my front teeth. I got back from the dentist's office a couple hours ago, where they have just now gotten around to repairing it. The back of the tooth feels weird now... I'm so accustomed to having that chunk missing that I keep jabbing it with my tongue and expect it to be there. Meh, I'll get used to it.
In happier news, (for me, anyway... this next part might break a few hearts *chuckle*) I have a girlfriend. I'm not quite sure how it happened, but I'm quite happy that it did. ^.^ Since she reads this journal and I'm not sure how she'd respond to being "outed" I'll just leave it at that.
All that happened, and the weeks only half over! Wheee! ^.^ Okay, seriously this time, I need to head out and find a temp agency that I can do some summer work for. Getting a ride is such a pain in the ass... -.-
