Canon: Tales of Phantasia is full of time travel, and it's mostly because of the resident big bad named Dhaos. It's thanks to the trouble that he starts that Cless - the main hero - is forced to embark on an adventure through time. Cless's first stop? One hundred years into the past to find someone capable of using magic. One of these people is Arche, a half elf that's proud of her skills as a witch. After gathering up Arche and a few other people, the group journeys through time in an attempt to stop Dhaos before he can take out the world.
Arche is a fairly happy person that usually has a big smile on her face! She tries her best to stay positive, and doesn't let the bad things get to her very often. When they do, though, she does her best to keep it from showing. She loves to tease and play around with others, although sometimes she can push it a little too far without meaning to. There's a bit of a sassy side in there, too, and she has no problems with making her opinion known. However, despite her natural playfulness and cheer, she can also be easily irritated and she has no problems with using violence.
Note: When traveling, Arche's preferred method is using a broomstick. When Arche speaks in the game, a heartmark is used every once in awhile. Also, Fire Storm is one of the spells that she can use while fighting; like the name suggests, it basically just creates a storm of fire.

Alright! I'm finally here! It took way too long to get to this place. There were a few flying machines that almost hit me when I was flying here. They were really big and they weren't going to get out of the way no matter what I did! It's a good thing that I managed to get around them without getting hurt. I can finally finish that quest I've been trying to finish for forever. At least there's not that much more to do! ♥ All that's left is getting to that spell book. Once I get that, I can leave!
Let's see... the tablet that told me how to get the spell said that it was by a pond. I saw one when I was flying in, so it can't be that far away! I know I'll be there soon. I kinda wonder if there's gonna be any other rewards for finishing the quest, too-- maybe I'll get a new broom and ribbon! It'd be better than the witch costumes the gorillas keep trying to shove me into. Not all magic users dress like that! Some of us wear different things to help make our magic better! Hmm... I guess I'll see what's there when I finally get to that pond, though.
Hmm~. I'm at the mess hall right now, and I think the map said that I had to take a right once I got there! And now that I can get a really good look at this place, too, I kinda like it here. There are a bunch of those gross zombie monsters around, though; I'll make sure I take care of them on the way back, that way everything'll be safer for the people that live here! First things first, though-- hey! I don't want your arm zombie guy, so stop throwing it at me! I'll throw it back, y'know! And let go of the broom! No one but me touches that, and-- don't do that! That's so gross! I bet you're only attacking because I'm so close to the reward, right? Well, I'll take care of you!
FIRE STORM!
... Wooow, I didn't think it'd be that easy to get rid of them. But now that they're gone, I can see the chest I came for! They really were hiding it. I bet there's all sorts of cool things in here-- hey, wait a second! What do you mean, "your key item is in another chest!"!?
