Dean is certain he'll be headed downstairs no matter what else he does in the time he has left before he kicks it for good. Doesn't matter that he's already been there, or that an archangel wanted to use him as a vessel -- in fact, that he refused that "honor" is probably another good reason why he might be going back.
But he looks at Castiel, the angel's expression vaguely baffled as he looks out the window, and Dean thinks he might be saved after all, in a way.
