Monday Blah and Stuff
Oh, Christ, now HILLARY FREAKING DUFF is writing YA paranormals? WTF is going on in that genre, man? I mean, I love my friends who are wading through that morass of crap, but sheesh. The good stuff is getting buried under garbage, much the same way vampire and paranormal romance did in the adult section.
Oy. Hillary Duff. She's the least annoying of that clutch of little Disney girls, but... shut up and sing, y/y?

Okay, first, I don't know if I've mentioned it yet, but the baby (or probably babies) who plays Harrison is SO CUTE! The smiling at the Irish lady? Awwww. And I don't get that whole ovary pinging thing over babies as a rule.
I totally thought that was Cheech Marin for a second in the religious artifacts shop.
I almost felt sorry for the road kill guy. Right up until he shot Dex in the gut. Dex, dude, you've lost your edge! Talk about a fuck up!
It was like Spy vs. Spy, only Serial Killer vs. Serial Killer. But the new spy was just a lame douche who's no match for Dexter.
Ah, and there's Julia Stiles. I can't say I'm pleased about that, but the story looks like it's going to get REALLY interesting and SCARY.
How screwed up is it that we root for a serial killer, and get scared when HIS life is in danger? LOL

MY 30 DAY MEMES - DAY 02
Day 02- Your favorite male character - I don't even know if I need to say this, but I will, because I love to say it. Eric, Eric, Eric, Eric, Eric, and also... Eric. I'm a book-raised girl, so I've loved him for years: his snark, his ruthlessness, his hard, badass exterior and surprising and well-hidden squishy center. The addition of the exquisite Alexander Skarsgard's portrayal in the TV-verse has only depended my appreciation. Frankly, I don't care if he hooks up with Sookie, as long as he spends LOTS of time naked. I also adore his relationship with Pam on TV.
Day 2 - favourite male character. This is a very complicated answer, for me. Seasons 1-3, Angel by a mile. Frankly, Angel is my favorite character in either series. In Season 4 and parts of 5, I adored Spike (before he swallowed both the shows and fandom). Season 6... um... well, nobody, frankly. I got what was going on with Buffy and Spike, but I didn't dig it, and Giles was just... not really present. I never cared much one way or the other about Xander. Oh! Can I pick Jonathan? Yes, okay, then, Jonathan for Season 6. Season 7... Principal Hottie. Er, that is, Principal Wood.
Day 2 - favourite male character. *Snort* Seriously? Well, maybe those who don't know me well aren't familiar, but I am a 100% Absolute Angel Girl, Now and Forever. Right or Wrong, Good or Evil, Angel is my boy.
