Of course Spike and Buffy are friends -- best friends, I'd say. And I'm sure it required her putting her foot down between him and Angel to stop their nonsense. ;) And yeah, I bet Spike told her about Manilow, laughing all the way. *G*

I hadn't really thought about Shanshu -- they're in Vegas, it's fluffy schmoop, so I just went with it. Anything's possible in fluff! :D

Great story! It has uncanny timing for my own life. I was just in Vegas 2 weeks ago, and as I walked down the terminal in the airport, the first thing I saw was this looming, oversized ad for Barry Manilow. I busted out laughing, thinking how excited Angel would be. Then I realized that no one around me would get the joke.

As a side note, I want to let you know that I have read all or almost all of your B/A fics but never commented. I love all of your stories. You're a fantastic writer, and I'm thrilled to see you posting more.
